ACT, WorkKeys & RESOURCES

EXPLORE, PLAN, ACT

Students in 8th through 11th grade will take a series of assessments, including EXPLORE, PLAN and ACT, to ensure students are on track to graduate from high school on time and with the knowledge and skills to succeed in college and challenging 21st century careers. These tests assess student achievement of English, reading, math and science. Students earn a score in each subject and a composite score which reflects all subjects. These rigorous and nationally comparable assessments are a key tool to prepare for Common Core assessments, specifically as they allow for consistency in the measurement of college and career readiness from year to year.

EXPLORE

Students in 8th and 9th grades will take EXPLORE. This test is scored on a scale of 0 to 25.
 

PLAN

Students in 10th grade will take PLAN. This test is scored on a scale of 0 to 32.
 

ACT

Students in 11th grade will take the ACT, or American College Test. This test is scored on a scale of 0 to 36. The state average is 20.1 points.

State ACT Spring 2017 Test for Juniors and Seniors

  • The ACT will be administered at Terrebonne High School for all enrolled juniors and seniors on Tuesday, March 21, 2017.
  • The state is providing the test at no cost to students.
  • If you are a junior or senior and wish to take the test during other regular testing dates on a Saturday, please contact your school counselor.
  • If you qualify for the free/reduced lunch program; You may qualify for a fee waiver for the ACT.

ACT PREPARATION AND RESOURCES

ACT Student

ACTStudent helps users anticipate and manage the ACT Test experience. Using the "Practice" feature, students can attempt answers to practice items and gain feedback from their attempts. "Account" allows users to log in for limited, read-only access to their own registration and score information. Accessing the link to ACT's mobile site, users can find straightforward answers to typical questions test takers have about events leading up to the test and the test day itself.

 This application collects no personal information and does not access any information stored on your device. You can access the information in your ACT Student account through this app by submitting your user name and password.
