NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY

The object of the Terrebonne High School Chapter of National Honor Society is to create an enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to render service, to promote worthy leadership, and to encourage the development of character in students of Terrebonne High School.

NHS meets every other Wednesday at the first half of lunch in the auditorium.  Please send any service hour opportunities for students to stephaniepellegrin@tpsd.org.


Requirements to become a member of National Honor Society:

Academics - As always, students are expected to demonstrate academic excellence by maintaining a GPA of 3.5 or above.

Character - Students must portray a level of integrity that can serve as role models for his/her classmates. Students must maintain an exemplary discipline and attendance record.

Leadership - Students must demonstrate an ability to be capable leaders.

Service - Students must be active in both community and school.

Induction - The induction ceremony will be at the beginning of the school year for juniors and seniors who meet the requirements as defined by the selection procedures.

Responsibilities - Students must meet bi-monthly during lunch time.


 

Selection Procedures
