Welcome to the Terrebonne High School Counselors' Office Webpage!

Terrebonne High School’s School Counselors follow the Comprehensive Developmental Counseling Program established by the Louisiana Department of Education. All THS school counselors are certified and/ or licensed educators specialized in school counseling with unique qualifications and skills to address all students’ academic, personal/social and career development needs. We provide services to students, parents, school staff and the community in the following areas:

• School Guidance Curriculum –Structured lessons designed to help students achieve desired competencies i.e., PLAN/ACT, EOC, ASVAB, Advanced Placement (AP), FAFSA, CLEP, WorkKeys, and Financial Aid workshops.

• Individual Student Planning – We coordinate ongoing systemic activities designed to help students establish personal goals and develop future plans i.e., portfolios, Advisory.

• Responsive Services –We develop confidential relationships with students to help them resolve or cope with personal, academic and social problems.

• System Support –Management activities establishing, maintaining and enhancing the total school counseling program. These activities include professional development, consultation, and collaboration.
